Session 8

We read and discussed the article entitled "Stop Living Ethically". For those not present, students were instructed as follows. Read the following article and think about your response to it. Have something to say. Make sure you can give an account of what you think is the author’s main point. What is your response to that main point? Discuss your thoughts with other students nearby.

Inter-session tasks to be completed before session 9.

  1. Catch up with your reading and read some more!
  2. Do some thinking and reading on virtue ethics.
  3. Work on the assessment task that is due in by 3rd April.
  4. Log some interesting business-related ethical issues.

"Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity."

- Christopher Morley
